About Institutional Strategy and Analysis

Institutional Strategy and Analysis (ISA) helps achieve NC State’s strategic goals by providing the most up-to-date, accurate, and timely data on students and university personnel. This includes admissions, enrollment, academic progress, student and alumni interests and satisfaction, and faculty productivity and workload. ISA also works to facilitate strategic planning, program assessment, surveys, and university progress toward strategic goals. The unit accomplishes success in these areas by building and working with inclusive, and often interdisciplinary, teams.

ISA works with strategic partners across the university and UNC System, emphasizing collaboration in all aspects of their work. These partners include the UNC System Office and Board of Governors, North Carolina legislators, federal agencies and accreditors, peer universities, and the general public. Each partnership represents the growth of sustainable relationships and progress that benefits the entire NC State community and all it touches.
