Enrollment Strategy

NC State’s enrollment strategy seeks to fulfill the university’s mission to serve the people of North Carolina and its special role within the UNC system as a research-extensive university.  This strategy is rooted in the NC State Strategic Plan External Link and uses this plan to guide the development of the enrollment strategy.

Preliminary Enrollment

These reports contain unofficial student headcount, FTE, and credit hours numbers.

Preliminary Enrollment Report  Login Required
The report starts on the first day of classes and continues until census is taken by UNC System Office on the tenth day of classes and becomes the official data for the semester.
NC State faculty and staff are able to access this report using shibboleth. 

Start by choosing your report date at the upper right.  This date reflects data copied as of the close of business the previous day and includes an integer that reflects the count of days relative to the day of classes for the term. For example, ‘Day -1 07JAN2019‘ denotes data frozen at the end of January 20, and represents enrollments as of the day before the start of the term.
