Undergraduate and Graduate Future Plans Survey
The Future Plans Survey of Graduating Seniors (FPS) and the Graduate Future Plans Survey (GFPS), administered every December and May, ask about the ‘future plans’ of graduating seniors and master’s and doctoral degree recipients. This includes detailed information on employment, graduate/professional school attendance, and participation in career-preparation activities while at NC State. Reports on results are available by semester, as well as for the combined December and May surveys in a given academic year..
Prior to AY22-23, ISA also administered the Survey of Recent Graduates (SRG) in early fall semester to follow-up with graduates who had either not submitted the FPS when they graduated in the previous December of May, or who did not have confirmed post-graduation plans at the time they submitted their survey. The AY reports included updated information collected in the SRG. As of AY22-23, the SRG is no longer administered.
